On a day after school, I went to my friend’s house to learn the basics of weightlifting, in relation to going to a gym. We planned to hangout at his house and utilize his at-home gym as a substitute to a normal paid gym, as he had all the equipment, I was interested in using at an actual gym.
I had never been to a gym, or done any degree of weightlifting before, and as a result I had to learn how to do everything; this was really challenging. I wasn’t super good at technique initially, and I was not lifting a lot of weight because I normally do not work out either. This experience was super important for me and my growth as a person. I have learned the fundamental technique of weightlifting, which is extremely important for when I do attend a gym to look and be healthy.
